If this isn’t a fabulous example of true mid century modern, I don’t know what is! The colors on this are to. die. for. Seriously. After all these years the deep jewel green on this and rich emerald accents are as vivid as ever. That’s probably because this one has been in storage for many years (please forgive the wrinkled appearance in some photos).
This is a heavy groundcloth in an almost brocade-type material with scattered very rotund dense-tufted chenille dots, accented by a nice thick border of some of the densest chenille I’ve ever seen…even by Cabin Crafts standards. Tag intact as shown. Nice generous full size.
I did not see any major damages to call on this except for a couple areas like I’ve shown in the last photo where there are white “flecks” (for lack of a better word). For most accurate color representation…refer to photos #1-4 as some of the lighting today caused bed photos to appear a bit too light. Otherwise, this fancy little number is ready to make your 50s bedroom pop…literally!
*Please remember that this bedspread is true vintage and has had a long life before it reaches you, so you should expect normal wear commensurate with age and previous use.*
❃vintage items are never perfect – but they display their imperfections perfectly!
