Vantona bedspreads rank as some of our very favorite around here, for their beauty, for their outstanding quality, and for their versatility. We recently used a pair of vintage Vantona’s in an identical colorway to this one to make two entire floor length curtain sets and are they ever so gorgeous. Vantona’s are easy to sew with should you choose, or make an absolutely beautiful statement in your bedroom.
This is a lovely example of vintage Vantona quality, with plump white rosebuds dancing about a buttercup yellow background. It is twin sized and fits my twin bed well, though the photos have been taken outside to show greater detail. There is a ton of fabric here if you are not wanting to use as a spread. We made curtains for 72″ long windows and used one twin spread per window to do it, but if you have smaller windows you’d be able to stretch the usage even more.
I did not notice any major damages to call on this beauty, though given its age I would always suggest there will be small imperfection or two – a loose fringe, missing tuft, small repair, etc., that those of us who love vintage linens appreciate all the more.
*Please remember that this bedspread is true vintage and has had a long life before it reaches you, so you should expect normal wear commensurate with age and previous use.*
❃vintage items are never perfect – but they display their imperfections perfectly!
