Nothing like a juicy, ripe melon in the summertime, right? Well, the color on this robe is as delish…it’s just so…tangy! Plush and soft, most certainly a 50/50 blend and circa the late 80s – early 90s, this is a very comfortable weight that isn’t cheap and lightweight, yet isn’t too heavy, which is great if you have back problems. We’ve pinned on a light lush lemon handmade chenille rose courtesy of my mom that you can place wherever you wish or remove completely.
My mom has so many of these we’ve long lost count, and most are in the S-M size range which is what she typically bought back then. I’d say this would fit anywhere from an XS-smaller M modern size, as it measures about 40-42″ bust, same for waist, about 48″ L and with sleeves around 19.5″ with the cuffs rolled up.
I see no major damages to call; bear in mind that this is a vintage chenille robe, so there will be minor imperfections associated with age and previous use. The color on this remains vibrant and if we didn’t have clothes bursting out of every closet already, I’d be keeping this one all for myself!
❃vintage items are never perfect – but they display their imperfections perfectly!
